My name is Katherine. I am an Albertan transplanted to Ontario. Right now, I am a radio room intern at the Toronto Star.

I studied journalism and political science at Carleton University in Ottawa, and in 2010, I was a student at the Danish School of Journalism and Media in Aarhus.

I like travel novels, stacks of magazines, homemade burgers and the Rocky Mountains. I hate yoga.

I have interned at English language news websites in Stockholm and Copenhagen, freelanced on urban planning issues at home, and I once had a (very) short lived blog for Macleans. In June 2010, I produced a multimedia website from Athens on the effect of the financial crisis on Greek graduates, which you can see here.
